Bright young entrepreneurs learn about video production
Last Saturday we had the pleasure of offering our film and videography workshop exclusively to participants in the brilliant initiative Manchester Youth Market - a program run by Manchester City Council that supports young entrepreneurs in the development of their business. Some really interesting ideas, including delicious smelling candles in vintage bottles, reworked vintage fashion, wooden sunglasses and fashion accessories, italian-portuguese fusion food and speciality milkshakes!
Although the basics of our film training workshop stayed in place, we added in some useful tips and exercises in order for our participants to produce effective, appealing promo videos for their businesses (including the elusive focus pull... ;)).
We were super impressed by everybody's enthusiasm and obvious signs of talent in their first steps in video production! On the 9th of April, we hope to see everybody again for our editing training workshop, where we will teach our participants how to edit their footage into a cohesive promo video that they will be proud to show off on the Manchester Youth Market Website.
